About Amanda

Amanda is a Norfolk native, and her background consists of management, art, freelancing, communications, and working with non-profits.  Amanda is a photographer and graphic artist. She earned her BFA in Photography and Print Media in 2013 at Old Dominion University. Her photography focuses mostly on photo manipulation work, and has appeared in the PFAC Genesis show, Compelling Images, the Amalgamation art exhibit, and several student art shows at ODU.

After obtaining her BFA, Amanda started her own freelance graphic design and photography business, Bradley Depictions. Her design work has appeared in many local advertisements, non-profits, events, business logos, and commercials.  Amanda's true passion lies in poster design and typography, and her poster was chosen for Norfolk's 43rd Annual Harborfest Poster in 2019.

Since July 2017, Amanda has been working in Norfolk's NEON District at the d'Art Center as its Communications, Marketing, and Gallery Manager. She is the Center's graphic artist and marketing manager, she maintains its social media accounts and website, and she manages the Center's gallery. She creates the exhibition schedules and prospectuses, organizes and manages the artist calls, and curates the exhibitions. She designs all Center marketing materials, and re-branded the Center's brand in 2018. She also manages and organizes multiple on-site fundraisers and special events.

She also works with Strategic Solutions by Tricia, LLC as her graphic designer.
